Celebrate National Pet Memorial Day September 9
Is Your Beloved Pet At Rainbow Bridge?
It's just not fair that pets don't live as long as humans do. It's one of life's great mysteries why they don't, I suppose. We fall in love with our pets, and all too soon they are gone; often after a long happy life. Sometimes tragedy strikes and our pets leave us at a young age without warning. The loss can be nearly unbearable, and only time can form a healing scar over the tear in our heart.
Some things help us to get through the grieving process. There is a favorite poem about Rainbow Bridge which I'll share with you here. There are also pet memorials of many kinds to help us remember and honor our beloved furkid. I'll try to find some of the nicest available for you.
As a Miniature Schnauzer rescuer for over 10 years, I have seen the loss personally of several beloved furkids. I painted a painting that I call "Schnauzie Crossing The Bridge" to express my feelings. The painting is available in prints and on various items. 100% of the proceeds benefit the vet expenses of the four rescue Schnauzers currently living at Sheila's Schnauzies Miniature Schnauzer Rescue & Sanctuary. Your support is greatly appreciated!
If you have lost a pet and are hurting, my heart goes out to you. Please feel free to add your fur child's name and date of passing to the Memorial below to share with the world.

I can't reprint it here in entirety, but do a quick Google search for the story, "The Rescuer At Rainbow Bridge." Worth the time.
